Bian Shouming (边寿民in Chinese, 1684-1752), a renowned painter of the Qing Dynasty. He excelled in painting flowers, birds, vegetables, and landscapes, but was particularly famous for his depictions of wild geese in splash-ink. His work was characterized by its natural and vivid representation, capturing the various postures of wild geese while flying, eating, resting, and swimming with great precision.
